Reverend Matthew Smith III was born on December 25, 1965 in Birmingham
, Alabama . He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at age 16, and
was baptized soon thereafter. He has been married to his wonderful wife
Rachelle for over eighteen years, and is the father of three beautiful
children and two grand children. Pastor Smith organized Grace Cathedral
Community Church , of San Leandro , in May 2000. After 6 years of labor
in the San Leandro vineyard, God moved him to Tracy, Ca. to build and
rebuild the lives of both His people and The Lost. The church name was
changed to New Covenant Christian Fellowship and is blessed by God to
become a sanctuary to the world.
